Watery Eye is also virtually epidemic on the prairies. We live in a climate that simply irriates the eye. PECC has a range of therapeutic options to help manage the symptoms of watery eye.
Conjunctivitis or 'Red Eye' can be caused by bacterial infection, viral infection, allergic reaction or chemical irritation. A precise diagnosis is crucial. PECC has a complete range of diagnostic equipment to determine that precise diagnosis. Antibiotic, anti-viral, pain management prescriptions can be delivered.
Diabetes diagnosis The Canadian Diabetic Association (CDA) has recently endorsed optometrists to provide a valuable role in diabetes diagnosis and follow-up. The CDA also recommends an annual dilated eye exam for all diabetics.
Corneal Foreign Bodies result from grinders, saws and hammers. These must be removed immediately to prevent or limit possible vision loss.
